APDM is one of four Oregon businesses awarded grants from the State of Oregon’s Economic Development department.

Oregon’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants are designed to “stimulate technological innovation and provide new opportunities for small businesses to conduct research and development (R&D) with commercialization potential.”

As Business Oregon’s recent press release states, “Supporting innovation at emerging Oregon small businesses is a key part of how Business Oregon works to create a competitive economy,” said Chris Harder, director of Business Oregon. “The state grants will help these small businesses scale their innovative ideas and access new markets, potentially resulting in future revenue and new jobs.”

APDM would like to thank Mark Brady and the rest of the Business Oregon for this wonderful opportunity.

Other winners included energy company Architectural Applications, semiconductor lithography company Inpria, and cancer treatment company Ubivac.
