March 22, 2016:

Dynavision International is excited to announce the release of Dynavision Gait and Balance™ featuring APDM’s Mobility Lab for comprehensive gait and balance assessment.

APDM technology includes wearable sensors that provide sensitive, validated and reliable outcome measures of gait, balance, and sway with its Mobility Lab reporting software that can quantify the change after an intervention using the Dynavision D2™ product.

The partnership between Dynavision and APDM came naturally as both companies are so well respected in athletic and medical research markets. Their two products coming together make strides for evaluation and intervention in the market place.

“We have always recognized the need to integrate visual motor and neuro-cognitive measurement with other highly connected sensory functions,” said Phil Jones, Dynavision president. “Gait and Balance are intricately combined with our visual processing system. We have been waiting for the correct device to emerge from the rapid advancement of wearable sensors with a reliable and validated operating system. That device has arrived! The Dynavision Gait and Balance™ using Mobility Lab by APDM is the most advanced product on the market and offers us the opportunity to integrate through precise objective measurement, the relationship between these sensory systems. We are excited to explore with our friends at APDM and our client base, the possibilities that lay ahead.”

“Partnering with Dynavision was an easy decision given their reputation as a leader in therapeutic intervention,” says Matthew Johnson, General Manager at APDM. “I have met many of their customers over the past five years, and the enthusiasm displayed for their products was nothing like I have ever seen in this industry, I had to be associated with Dynavision. Our two products are perfectly complementary, it’s as if they were conceived within the same thought.”
